For the love of Home Ownership

Easy to say and yes I am happy, actually I am ecstatic that I finally entered the home owner elite. Well it seems that way at the moment even though I know we are no more elite than anyone else. In actual fact nothing has really changed. I have to pay money to someone else every month for the privileged of staying in a house. I do not like where I am going with this. I love my new house, all mine now I need to make it my own. The mortgage and insurance are taken care of and I have my new carpets arriving next week so all is well.

Rustic Lighting Ideas

By Chris Drake

Rustic lighting is typically made of wood and is used to illuminate homes and add to the decorating style. Rustic lights are designed to be used in both indoor and outdoor lighting situations. They are available as ceiling mounted lights, track style lighting and standard bathroom lighting. They are often found in lodge style hotels and resorts. It can also be seen in the entrance ways of traditional office buildings.

There are many rustic lights to select from. There are rustic style chandeliers, table lamps, ceiling lights and more. One of the best features of rustic fixtures is that they are typically not very expensive. Rustic lighting looks very different than traditional home lighting. Rustic lights work best when they compliment the decorating and construction style of an existing house or building

Rustic lighting looks best in homes and business that have been built with natural materials, such as wood and logs. These homes usually have high ceilings and hardwood floors that are decorated in a rustic style. The majority of the rustic lights are designed for casual and comforting lighting purposes.

The patterns tend to be animals, nature, or an Old West look. Rustic homes usually have large open rooms and wood paneled walls and floors. Because of the wood floors and ceilings, the rustic lighting needs to be bright enough to provide ample lighting but also create a diffused and relaxing effect at the same time.

Antler style is a popular type of rustic lighting. This style has been around for hundreds of years and was originally lit by using a candle. Antler lighting is a great alternative in adding rustic lights and personality to your house.

If you have a rustic style house, the antlers will give your home an Old West feel. An antler lamp has a basic shape so that it can be used with any type of western style furniture. An antler lamp helps to balance a classic country style with a comfortable rustic style.

Rustic lighting often has rawhide shades. These shades are used to create table lamps and even sconces. Rawhide is available in all shades from a light tan color to a dark brown color. Antler lamps can also be made into chandeliers.

Some chandeliers are made from deer antlers and the larger chandeliers are usually made from elk antlers. Rustic antlers will work well with any size home. For additional details about rustic lighting, please visit our website.
