For the love of Home Ownership

Easy to say and yes I am happy, actually I am ecstatic that I finally entered the home owner elite. Well it seems that way at the moment even though I know we are no more elite than anyone else. In actual fact nothing has really changed. I have to pay money to someone else every month for the privileged of staying in a house. I do not like where I am going with this. I love my new house, all mine now I need to make it my own. The mortgage and insurance are taken care of and I have my new carpets arriving next week so all is well.

How To Benefit From LED Lighting In Your Kitchen

By Abigail Monot

Really good kitchen lighting designs characteristically use a great deal of lighting - and we're not talking about putting a few extra roses on the ceiling Kitchen lighting requires all manner of different types of light to handle the requirements of many different zones. Just about the worst lighting solution for a kitchen is the use of bright fluorescent strip lights on the ceiling. Sure, they're unquestionably very bright - but cold, flat and likely to induce a headache in less time than it takes to soft boil an egg.

Clearly, a major problem with central ceiling roses in a kitchen is that they create dark spots and you are always casting your own shadow onto worktops. A popular solution is to fit a number of halogen down lights in a pattern in the ceiling to produce uniform general light and install extra lighting specifically for worktops and hobs etc.

This does indeed work quite well, but brings its own set of problem: halogen lamps run at very high temperatures; they don't last well; and they are pretty much the most expensive possible way to light a kitchen. Over ninety percent of the cost of incandescent lighting in general (and halogen lamps in particular) is the electricity they consume.

This one fact helps explain the growing popularity of cool, super energy efficient LED kitchen lights. For mains powered lighting you simply replace all existing GU10 halogen lamps with equivalent GU10 LED lights. For low voltage systems, you first replace existing 12 volt transformers with a smaller number of constant voltage 12 volt LED drivers (each can power a number of light fittings) then replace MR16 halogens with LED light bulbs.

There are 3 principal qualities to consider when evaluating LED spotlights, namely: luminosity (or brightness); color temperature (how blue and cool or yellow and warm the light seems); and light beam angle. Try to obtain as good a match as possible to the performance of your halogen lamps in these 3 areas.

We have become accustomed to rating brightness by wattage, but the rated wattage for an LED light bulb should be about 10% that of the equivalent normal incandescent or halogen bulb. So expect to replace a 35w halogen lamp with an LED rated 3w or greater, 50w requires a 5w LED and so on.

Color temperature is used to measure how warm or cool a light seems. LED lights are available in a variety of white color temperatures (and also, colors) but since it has always been easier to manufacture blue LEDs, many cheap LEDs tend to have a cold/bluish tinge. Go for warm white (color temperatures below 3500K) for a reasonable approximation to the kind of white light normally associated with halogen lamps.

The more focused the beam angle is (i.e. 45 degrees) the more the light will appear tightly constrained to a single spot-like area; conversely wide angles (i.e. 120 degrees) disperse the light uniformly and reduce hot spots and glare. When looking for a good LED replacement for regular halogen lamps, the Sharp Zenigata LED spotlight is perhaps the top contender at present.

A critical component that determines how artificial light actually appears is not the light itself but the surface on which it is shining. To create a warm feel simply direct spot lights at warmly coloured areas (clay tiles, wood or just a wall painted in warm colours). If a dramatic effect is what you're after, try shining blue LEDs at either dark or reflective surfaces - blue LED light bounced off granite or steel can appear stunning.

Mixing a variety of lights that offer different characteristics with a range of textures and colors makes it possible to obtain an extensive palette of effects for the various zones in your kitchen. LED strip lighting systems in particular offer all manner of options for accenting plinths, coving, worktops and pretty much anything else you could imagine. But at the end of the day though, once you're done playing with all the new ideas on offer, try and settle on just a few designs that really appeal - it's quite surprising how impressive even a bit of LED kitchen lighting appears.

The Yorkshire terrier comes from a mix of other breeds that has been tweaked over decades. The result is a very small but energetic and loveable breed of dog.

Most people find them to be quite adorable and a great companion. This is good news because Yorkshire terriers do require a great deal of attention and interaction.

They love to socialize with people but are not quite so pleased to be with other dogs. It is best to have only one or two pets to care for if you have a Yorkshire terrier.

The coat on a Yorkshire terrier is beautiful and very shiny. It will have a higher gloss to it though if you are feeding it a proper diet.

The vitamins and nutrients found in those foods are what it needs in order to really thrive. Proper grooming of this coat is essential.

Failure to pay attention to these important grooming issues can result in the Yorkshire terrier not looking very well at all.

When you view the Yorkie Names up close you will notice some distinct features about them. Their coat has a variety of colors in it including but not exclusive to shades of gold and tan. Dark brown and black are also very common.

If you look very close you may even find some dark blue colors on it. The Yorkshire terrier has a very short but thick tail and ears that stand up straight.

This isn't standard on the breed though but rather a process that is developed through a process. The owner needs to understand this process so they can get the right results.

It involves using a stick across the two wears with them taped into the proper position. After a length of time the ears will be permanently remaining that way.

While Yorkshire terriers are prone to many different health issues, they can do well with proper medical care and the correct diet.

Making sure all of their basic needs are met from the very start is going to help you be successful in keeping them both healthy and happy. On average a Yorkie will live to be from 12-15 years of age.

The personality and temperament of Yorkshire terriers are quite interesting. These dogs don't carry themselves in a way that suggests they are small in size. They are very active and extremely protective of their owners.

They don't like to share attention though so they can become aggressive towards other pets you may have in your home.

To defend their owner and to get recognized they often engage in a very high pitched bark. It is certainly a sound you better grow accustomed to if you want to have a Yorkshire terrier around.

It is important to understand that due to their small size they are often the victims of falls and being stepped on. Make sure you do all you can to keep your Yorkie safe from such occurrences.

Vital Free Death Records

By Ben Dave

Anyone with Free Death Records is no longer around. Now, isn't that obvious but it's a vital piece of information especially if you were trying to track him or her down. Yes, death records are one of the official principal vital records. They're hugely informative on their own and also often open doors to other significant matters. Teaming with birth, marriage and divorce records, they form the pillars of our public information system in the US.

As with other public records, Free Death Records are governed at state level. That means they are subject primarily to state laws within which are variations from state to state. On the whole, death records are public information and hence retrievable by any member of the public as long as requirements are observed and met. They are mandated by law (Freedom of Information Act, 1966) to be made available as a public service by the authorities, side by side with private sources.

Compared to those of olden days, modern-day death records are very comprehensive. The standard information contained in death records includes personal particulars of the deceased, date and location of death, the name and relationship of the informant and members of the surviving family and burial and funeral notices. Obituaries are often attached too. It must be noted that details on the cause of death are sometimes restricted to close kin and relatives if they are deemed sensitive or confidential.

Within Government Death Records, the most important document is the Death Certificate. It must be produced to make insurance claim, execute a will or testament, apply for burial permit or even marriage license and so forth. It can be touchy especially if the cause of death is irregular and may affect the family's reputation or standing such as AIDS, alcoholism, suicide or other stigmas. Death certificates are classified as protected information in some states. For example, there are requirements to be met for requesting those for deaths within the past 25 years in Texas.

There are variations in the ways Public Death Records are provided throughout the country also. Foremost, the fees levied among the states vary. The preferred mode of request is also different. Ohio rewards walk-in requests with same-day service while California only accepts mail orders and Texas recommends electronic orders (TexasOnline). Processing times are also vastly different too. It averages 14 weeks in California and 12 months for Death Affidavits. In Ohio, it's 2 to 3 weeks and 10 business days in Florida.

The neatest way to get around all these variations among the states in Death Records Search is by using commercial record providers. They not only sort out the specifics of each state for you they have them all linked in a single database so that multiple-state searches can be conducted at one go. They always provide online option so you can conduct the search from the privacy and convenience of your preferred setting. Last but not least, it's typically instant, 24/7 and straightforward.
