For the love of Home Ownership

Easy to say and yes I am happy, actually I am ecstatic that I finally entered the home owner elite. Well it seems that way at the moment even though I know we are no more elite than anyone else. In actual fact nothing has really changed. I have to pay money to someone else every month for the privileged of staying in a house. I do not like where I am going with this. I love my new house, all mine now I need to make it my own. The mortgage and insurance are taken care of and I have my new carpets arriving next week so all is well.

Cat Rescue Homes

By Moses Wright

Cats may become homeless if the circumstances of their families change. If a family moves to a residence that does not allow cats or has a financial setback, the family may need to surrender the cat to an animal shelter or cat rescue home.

A cat may lose a home due to the development of an allergy by a family member. An unwanted litter of kittens is sometimes surrendered to a shelter due to neglecting to have the cats spayed and neutered.

These homeless cats are often surrendered to animal shelters or cat rescue homes. A majority of pets are surrendered to rescue groups and shelters due to changes in the family and not due to problems with the animals.

Animal shelters can be pushed to their limits in the number of animals they can care for at a time. Many animal shelters have ties with cat rescue homes and fostering homes that can take some cats until permanent homes are found.

Many animal shelters rely on fosterers to care for some of the animals in their homes. A cat foster home can provide a cat with a more natural, family setting with social interaction until a permanent home is found.

Being a fosterer can be a very positive experience. The fosterer can take pride in contributing to animal rescue efforts. The fostered pets often show affection and provide companionship.

Some people would like to become fosterers but have concerns over the costs of caring for the animals. Some animal shelters cover many of the costs of fostering cats including veterinary care, litter, and cat food.

People interested in becoming fosterers should contact their local animal shelters for information. The animal shelters have requirements to ensure that the fostered animals will be well cared for. Sometimes, animal shelters will help an interested, sincere individual meet the requirements for becoming a fosterer.

It is Everyone's Morning Alarm Clock - LED Alarm Clocks

By Paul J. Easton

LED alarm clocks are very popular and can be found anywhere. They are quite cheap, easily available, and easy to read. The LEDs also comes in different colors like amber, yellow, blue, and the most popular is red then followed by green. Red LED clocks are so bright that you can read them from across the room.

Some LED clocks have two alarms, the second alarm is usually used for a particular function but most of the common ones have the basic built-in AM/FM radios and the buttons to fall asleep. You can set the alarm for either the obnoxious buzzer or the radio. I usually prefer the radio unless I have a really important meeting and then I'll go with the buzzer. Nothing is more stressful than finding out you turned off the tuning dial and failed to wake up on time because the radio was tuned to in-between station static.

There are several LED alarm clock designs around; one interesting design that caught my attention is a LED clock inside a thin piece of wood. Another unique clock design is a modern take on kid's block toys. The digit of the clock is connected by fine wires and enables you to arrange the blocks anyway you like.

Another unique and inventive design is the scrolling message LED alarm clock. This execution involves a scrolling marquee that has the option of displaying a series of preprogrammed messages at random intervals between time updates. These LED clocks are also capable of getting news feeds so you can actually get headlines, weather, and time all in one neat package. You can also upload personal messages to the clock so it will greet you with your message of choice. What you do with this LED clock is only limited by your imagination.

A Historical Overview Of Rumba

By Jessica Wigan

Rumba, the dance of love, is one of the most romantic and passionate of the Latin dances. Of all dances, actually. It's no wonder why it's a second most popular Latin dance, just behind Salsa. It's a great dance for weddings. In this article we will take a peek into the history of rumba, or sometimes rhumba.

Rumba developed in the 16th century in Cuba and has African origins. It appeared when the Spanish colonists brought African slaves to South America and the Caribbean. Music that original rumba was danced to was a mixture of Spanish melodies and African rhythms.

At its beginnings, rumba was very fast and extremely erotic dance. This is the reason why it was often suppresses and viewed immoral. The word rumba originated from the Spanish word "rumbear" which means to go party, to have a good time, to dance.

Afro-Cuban rumba is very different than the rumba we know today. American style was popularized in the United States in 1930s. At that time it had a fast tempo and was usually accompanied by Big Band music. Early American Rumba was danced almost twice as fast as the modern ballroom rumba.

The modern style rumba is danced to a wide variety of music written in 4/4 time. The rhythm of the steps is slow, quick, quick, with slow step danced over two counts of music. Some of the most famous rumba songs include Frank Sinatra - Girl from Ipanema, The Beetles - And I Love Her, Gloria Estefan - Mi Buen Amor, and Chris Isaak - Wicked Game just to name a few.

Over time, rumba transformed from wild and fast to slow and sensual. Although it changed a lot from its Afro-Cuban origins, it still remains a dance of passion.

Rumba is certainly the most sensual of Latin dances. Today, it's one of the most popular social and ballroom dances. Easy to learn and definitely worth trying.

Ways to Fit Both a Tub and a Shower in the Bathroom

By Lesli Jambers

The increasing population in the world today has made living space into a very vital resource. Like most precious commodities, its value has risen a hundredfold since decades ago and it doesn't look like it's going to decrease any time soon. This is the main rationale why people in the field of urban planning are smiling from ear to ear. They are quite aware of the significance of their profession to the crowded suburban places as well as thickly populated cities.

You don't have to be a licensed or certified urban planner in order to maximize the space in your own home. If a small place is what your budget could afford for the moment, then just grin and bear it. Learn how to be comfortable with what you have. Utilize the power of optical illusions like the use of a mirror, multi-purpose furniture like couch and bed rolled into one and multi-functional equipments like treadmill with a built in Stairmaster.

What is essential is that you tap your creativity in a subtle manner so that you can make a wider living space. Do not succumb to the temptation of wallowing in misery because you are living in a small place. Be smarter than that.

Now, if you own a small bathroom but have this unquenchable urge to install a shower and a bath tub, it is imperative that you shun all forms of pessimism. Focus on making things happen, no matter how seemingly insurmountable the odds are. Do not be ashamed to ask suggestions from significant others like close friends and family members because they might have encountered the same problem that you are currently having. Nevertheless, if nothing they say actually works, contact your trustworthy plumber. He will be more than eager to help you out for a minimal fee.

The next three paragraphs will elucidate the reasons why both a tub and a shower might fit into your bathroom. Read on and learn new things.

The first way in making a shower and a tub fit in a small bathroom is to install the shower head directly above the bath tub. Obviously, you have no other option except to take a quick shower inside the tub. Are you worried that it might pose as a hazard since the tub can get slippery when wet? Well, you can remedy your problem by sticking 100% vinyl appliqu?s on the tub flooring so that your feet will not slip easily. Since it will have something to hold on to, you can take your time playing with water.

Second, purchase a toilet bowl or bidet in the smallest size so that you will have ample space for your tub and shower fixtures. If you are thin or small framed, then you won't encounter any problem. Unfortunately, if you are like Hulk Hogan or Shaquille O' Neal, you might have to undergo a careful deliberation if you really want to go this route. List down all the pros and cons of this option and make a decision after figuring out what it is that you really want.

Last but definitely not the least; avoid adding unnecessary items like plants in huge pots inside your small bathroom. They will waste precious space and will not advance your cause. However, if you are really dreaming of a cute little accent, you may try a bonsai or cacti and put it on top of the toilet bowl's flushing system. Colorful flowers in miniscule vases would also look good as well as framed pictures of the natural environment.

An eye cream provides more moisture to the skin so it is a good choice for people with dry skin. An organic eye balm provides protection against environmental elements such as the sun, cold, and wind. Natural skin products such as eye balms, skin firming gels, and eye creams repair and firm the skin while softening and smoothing the lines around the eyes. They aid in decreasing skin irritation and promote skin healing. There are many types of eye creams available such as night care products which are thicker so they can nourish and revitalize the eye area. There are daily use products which are thinner so they blend into the skin and protect it all day.

When searching for an eye cream for sensitive skin, it is important to read the ingredient label. Some products claim to be organic, but they are not. Look for USDA certified organic label. Also, organic eye care products will not irritate, sting, or burn the skin. It is always a good idea to compare products so you know you are getting the best quality.

Sensitive eye creams should have all-natural ingredients and should be marked for sensitive eyes. Sensitive organic anti-aging eye cream is a great choice.
