For the love of Home Ownership

Easy to say and yes I am happy, actually I am ecstatic that I finally entered the home owner elite. Well it seems that way at the moment even though I know we are no more elite than anyone else. In actual fact nothing has really changed. I have to pay money to someone else every month for the privileged of staying in a house. I do not like where I am going with this. I love my new house, all mine now I need to make it my own. The mortgage and insurance are taken care of and I have my new carpets arriving next week so all is well.

Second Citizenship - Why Would You Consider It?

By Michael Griffith

Having dealings in more than one country is a good reason to have second citizenship, which is why many individuals do. However, there are also many without second citizenship that have a need for it. They really dont understand why they need it. Luckily, that is ending right here.

If you are wondering what those reasons are, they include:

- If youre renewing your passport more than every ten years, then you need that citizenship.

- It may be possible that your passport could be renounced at any time by the current government. You dont want that to happen.

- Your current passport status is keeping you from being able to succeed in investments and economically.

- Taxes may be imposed on your international income by your home country. As a citizen of a second country, your home country cant tax that money, only the country it was earned in can. This saves you money

- Your traveling might be restricted for some reason.

- You want to provide some insurance for your family against any misfortunes.

When Americans apply for dual citizenship, they usually do so in order to reduce tax bills and to add to their privacy. Although it is not necessary, some individuals go as far as renouncing their citizenship so that they do not have to face tax penalties by their own country. This country is usually the U.S.

Unfortunately of all of the developed countries, the United States is the only one that taxes its citizens on their worldwide income.

But it is fair to mention that dual citizenship is sought by people all over the world. Poor individuals from many countries look to obtain U.S. citizenship for a better opportunity. Wealthier individuals do it as well. Europeans and residents of other countries also have their own reasons why they want to leave their home country and live in another. Those reasons may be personal or economical. Some just like a little change.

Whats interesting is the fact that there are people around the world who are not aware that obtaining dual citizenship is an option. If they knew this, there would be more people switching countries. But it is catching on. Tax incentives and breaks are being realized as well as many rights that exist. All-in-all, the dual citizen has more rights than the average person.

So look into getting that second passport so you can have second citizenship in the country that you dream of living in. You wont regret it.
