For the love of Home Ownership

Easy to say and yes I am happy, actually I am ecstatic that I finally entered the home owner elite. Well it seems that way at the moment even though I know we are no more elite than anyone else. In actual fact nothing has really changed. I have to pay money to someone else every month for the privileged of staying in a house. I do not like where I am going with this. I love my new house, all mine now I need to make it my own. The mortgage and insurance are taken care of and I have my new carpets arriving next week so all is well.

Fixing Dog Behavior Problems

By Andyl Hannerl

When adopting a new puppy, there are training issues that need to be addressed from the beginning. Although the puppy is undeniably cute, if certain behaviors are not addressed from the beginning, and if alpha dominance is not established by the owner from the beginning, the puppy will grow up with destructive behaviors that will be much harder to break as an adult.

There are very simple solutions to many of these problem behaviors, and if the training starts as soon as the puppy enters the household, many of the presenting problems will not even manifest, since they were addressed the first couple of times that they occurred.

Issues

There are many different types of dog behavior problems that individuals will go to a trainer to help them address with their dogs. One of these dog behavior problems is excessive barking.

A lot of dogs have the inclination to bark at almost everything that they see and encounter "it can be a noise, another dog or animal, a person or just for the sake of having fun. Not only is barking annoying to owners, it can also affect the neighbors especially those who live in a condominium or an apartment.

Another dog behavior problem is digging in the yard. This can be a difficult issue to stop once it has started and can cause a lot of damage and even safety issues if it is not corrected.

Not only will digging destroy flower beds and destroy gardens, it can also create holes in the yard which can be very insightful. Also, if dogs create holes somewhere near the fence, they will have the tendency of escaping and it can be harmful to your pet.

If you have a lot of pets at home, food aggression is another dog behavior problem. Some dogs would protect their food from the other pets and can sometime lead them to snapping at the other animals and chase them away from their food dish. All these reactions can lead to fighting and biting which can be dangerous to little kids if they are around the house. This can also be between two male dogs who are not neutered that can be a cause of aggression.

Some other dog behavior problems are, thieving issues, chewing problems, separation anxiety, whining and running away which can also be considered as aggression problems.
